~ Vegan ~

These are my vegan recipes.  Just in case anyone is confused by my definition of Vegan, recipes on this page are free of all animal products, including gelatin, eggs and dairy, as well as meat.  In most cases, they are also free of honey.  In the small number of recipes where honey is present, an alternative is suggested.

As readers of this blog will know, I typically include a section on each recipe called ‘Variations’, which gives suggestions on how to render particular recipes vegan, gluten-free, etc.  In the interests of making sure vegans reading this page can easily find all the recipes they might be able to use, I have therefore included in this listing a handful of recipes which are not strictly vegan as written, but which are very easily ‘veganised’ and have clear instructions on how to do this.

There are a number of other recipes on this blog which are also susceptible to veganisation (that just became my new favourite phrase), but would require a bit more effort.  In general, if veganizing the recipe involved changing more than two or three ingredients, I haven’t included it here.

Enjoy!
