Well, look at that.  Two years after starting this blog, it seems that I’ve discovered breakfast!  Actually, that’s not entirely true – I discovered breakfast a long time ago, but I also discovered sleeping, and I like sleeping more.  But I have been attempting to eat at least a nominal breakfast for a while now, so perhaps it isn’t surprising that I’m finally creating the odd recipe that doesn’t fit in any other category.

Of course, there are an awful lot of recipes that wind up being breakfast by default.  I maintain that fruit crumble with yoghurt is *absolutely* a healthy breakfast, as are a number of other contenders from the dessert section.  Also, everything in the Breads, Scones and Quickbreads is breakfast-friendly, so I haven’t bothered including any of the breads here.  And, of course, I *do* like a little bit of butter to my bread…

So there you go.  Breakfast.  We have some.  Rise and shine?
